Peter is a third-generation member of a South Pasadena family and is now living in Pasadena. Having attended South Pasadena High School, he grew up exploring all the local neighborhoods, cultural landmarks, shops, and restaurants, and has an encyclopedic knowledge of the area he calls home. This sense of exploration has expanded in his adult years to all of Los Angeles County, where he has proudly represented clients all the way from Malibu to Monrovia.

Raised in South Pasadena, Rex Owens is a native Southern Californian. He loves the close-knit feeling of the local communities while still having access to Pasadena’s “big city” amenities. Rex is proud of the community’s rich history, stunning architecture, and diverse culinary experiences. Having raised their three sons in South Pasadena, Rex and his wife of more than 30 years, know it’s the perfect place to call home.

Rex spent his youth remodeling the family homes and income properties. After college, he became the director of real estate for one of the nation’s largest insurance and service providers, managing more than 4 million square feet of real estate across the United States. He developed valuable business acumen and gained experience working under pressure—skills he still utilizes today in negotiating and managing transactions on behalf of his clients.

Rex recently made the full-time move into residential real estate, partnering with his son, Peter, who has had a dynamic career as a licensed real estate sales professional for a number of years. In addition to Rex’s understanding of all aspects of real estate and his generational knowledge of the community, he truly loves helping his clients find the home of their dreams. Rex knows the stress associated in the financial commitment of home ownership, which is why he approaches every interaction with honesty, compassion, and a positive attitude.

Although he specializes in luxury properties, Rex helps clients across all price points. He is passionate about helping people create generational wealth through home ownership. When Rex isn’t working, you can find him spending time with family, volunteering at his church, and cruising the Southland on his Vespa scooter, “Sophia.” Combining two of his passions, Rex’s Vespa is his vehicle-of-choice for touring properties.
